Frequently Asked Questions about Parade

What does the Parade "Entrant" fee cover?

The entry fee covers the “entrant” and “co-entrant” (there is an additional fee for children, JPP, CAFP and Adult Guests). It helps to defray costs for general overhead, site/venue rental fees, audiovisual equipment, name badges, goodie bag (includes a collectible pin and patch), car numbers, printed materials, security, car wash areas, bottled water at venues and trophies to start with. It also helps with costs of the Welcome Tent, the Hospitality Center (offers beverages/light snacks during the week) and the Internet Café (features internet access and printing capabilities), the Ice Cream Social, Seminars (Autocross Chalk Talk, Rally School, Parade 101, Concours, Newsletter, Website, and Membership), Tech Academy, the Art Show, Radio Controlled Cars events and some of the P- Kids’ Activities.

Additional fees apply for banquet/meal tickets and selected other events.

How do I reserve my lodging?

Once an entrant completes the online registration process and checks out (pays with a credit card), they receive an immediate email to their inbox letting them know the process is complete. It also contains their unique “entrant number” and hotel codes that are both needed to be able to reserve their lodging for Parade Week.

What Parade Week events are “open” to the public?

The Concours d’Elegance is available to all who wish to view the spectacular offering of judged, non-judged and historic Porsches

If you are a PCA member and have not registered for Parade, bring your PCA membership card for a one-time admittance to the Parade Goodie Store.

All other Parade Week areas and events require online pre-registration prior to June 11, 2017 along with displaying issued Parade credentials received during Check-In.

How much time should be allotted to the “Check-In” process?

Each entrant/co-entrant/CAFP/JPP/child/adult guest must provide picture ID and sign a PCA Waiver prior to receiving their Parade credentials and Check-In packet. You will then circulate through the hall checking in with the events that you have pre-registered for during Parade Week. The competitive events, tours and banquets (if you preferred to choose your table for Concours or Victory Banquets) usually take a little more time. Once completed, you turn in your completed “Checklist” to receive your Parade Bag.

During the week “Late Check-In” is available (hours become more limited as the week progresses). Especially early in the week this process can be time consuming as well, so please plan accordingly!
