Parade Concours d'Elegance
The première Porsche Parade competition event. Whether you are an experienced Concours participant, a first time entrant, or a volunteer, there is an opportunity for every Parade entrant to get involved in this prestigious event. The Concours d’Elegance is not just about the competition, it’s about getting involved and participating with others who share a common appreciation for the Porsche marque.
This year’s Concours d’Elegance will be held on Monday, July 10th along the banks of the picturesque Spokane River at the beautiful Riverfront Park. The spacious Riverfront Park includes four show areas, including Lilac Meadow, Havemale Point, Marmot Meadow, and Couplet Meadow.
Introduced this year, for our 62nd Parade, there are revised judging classes established for Boxsters, Caymans and the newer models. Be sure to review the 2017 Parade Competition Rules prior to registration, to determine the correct judging class in which your Porsche should be entered.
In addition, the Class awards will be presented during the event, at location on the Concours site, as soon as the class scoring is complete. The First Place award recipients will have the honor of driving their car to the award platform to receive their award on the Concours site. However, as is the custom, the “Overall Group” awards, the “People’s Choice” award, the “Honorary Judge’s Choice” award and the special awards for “Level of Achievement” will be presented Tuesday evening during the Concours Banquet. Included in the itinerary at the Concours Banquet will be the recognition of all Concours award recipients.
An enclosed and secure Concours Prep area will be available in the underground parking garage of the Davenport Grand and Tower Hotels. These areas will be available starting Friday, July 7th on a first-come first-served basis. Electrical outlets are plentiful and a wash area will be provided in the Hotel loading docks.
